7 x 2.5-hour sessions, every Wednesday:

Oct 8, 15, 22, 29 & Nov 5, 12, 19

Times: 12–2:30 pm or 4–6:30 pm

👥 Who Can Join?

  • Adults at beginner to intermediate levels

  • No previous experience needed

  • Just bring your creativity and be ready to get a little messy!

☺️ A little about your instructor

Hi I’m Cassie 👋 I’ve been practicing art my whole life, with a deep focus on portrait painting for the last 10 years, sharing my skills is something I adore doing. After teaching workshops and classes for over 5 years, I’ve learned just as much from my students as they’ve learned from me. Together, we’ve built a truly welcoming and supportive community.

I offer ongoing weekly art classes that cover a huge range of different art mediums and workshops that concentrate on a specific art medium or style.

I’m extremely passionate about helping participants keep their unique artistic voice. I’ve seen how formal training can sometimes stifle creativity, something I’ve experienced firsthand and worked to regain in my own practice. My approach is to provide guidance, teach techniques, and share skills — all while ensuring you stay on your own artistic journey.

1. Do I need experience?

No – this workshop is beginner-friendly, and I’ll guide you step by step.

2. What will I take home?

A finished 40×50 cm portrait painting.

3. What materials do I need?

All materials are supplied. Optional: an art journal to track your progress is highly recommended, 40x50cm 9mm wooden boards are provided, if you prefer to paint on canvas please feel free to bring your own - 40x50cm deep edge canvas is recommended and can be purchased at various larger stores like Bunnings, big w etc. or art stores.

4. Can I pay per week?

This course is offered in full term payment to encourage commitment.
